Who Is Reb Eli Stefansky

Originally from Chicago, Reb Eli Stafansky and his family made Aliyah to Ramat Beit Shemesh in 2013. A few years later, Reb Eli began hosting a Daf Yomi Shiur in his home every Thursday night, where he would summarize that week’s seven Dapim of Gemara.

Reb Eli gave the first ever Mercaz Daf Yomi Shiur in the middle of Maseches Avodah Zarah, on Daf כ״ח, in the middle of a Sugya. Reb Eli chose not to delay giving shiur with the beginning of a new Masechta but to take advantage of the opportunity to fulfill a Mitzvah right away. Reb Eli has taught us that when Hashem grants you the chance to be a part of something unique, take that gift and run with it.

Since then, MDY has grown from seven members to over 30,000, transforming the lives of Shiur members and their families. There's no better time for you to join than now. Reb Eli's Shiur is designed to create a special connection to the Torah by transmitting the Daf clearly and understandably, ultimately making the Torah's greatness accessible to all.
